Construction

Building and construction is a complex and disciplinary activity, highly regulated by statutory building codes and standards. We partner with all necessary engineering, planning and certifying authorities to ensure that the building process is and remains compliant. “What goes up, stays up!” Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) compliance is adhered to on all Inset Group construction sites. We love building, but residential construction is our secret passion. We apply our interiors experience, which requires refined attention to detail, to overall general building construction and fitout. This facilitates the creation of a unique, bespoke style and build process.

Project Management

Our experienced project management team will manage your project from start to finish. Strategic project planning is key at commencement. Our expert team will develop a project schedule and cost estimate. We address all WHS and statutory regulations, site permits and tenancy requirements. We oversee production, procurement of materials, furniture and equipment, subtrades and on site construction. We encourage open communication with our clients throughout the entirety of your project. Our team monitors and reviews our plan and processes in order to facilitate the smooth delivery of your project within cost and time deadlines.

Documentation and Approvals

Design concepts are formalised through detailed documentation and technical specification. Our accuracy and diligence in the production of drawings and specifications allows us to maintain quality throughout the pivotal project stages of the DA, CC, BC and CDC as applicable. Our experienced, skilled design team considers all applicable statutory and Local Council guidelines (BCA and AS) and seek to exceed minimum standards to ensure a smooth project progression and approval process. We have developed long standing relationships with highly regarded consultants including town planners, private certifying authorities and engineers. We engage with these consulting and certifying entities when required to ensure compliancy of each project.

Custom Joinery

We design and manufacture luxury showcases, displays and furniture for some of the world’s most prestigious global retail brands. We are recognised in the industry for our quality craftsmanship and production of high quality detailed joinery. Our skilled production team has extensive experience working with specialised finishes and materials and in using innovative techniques when manufacturing custom joinery. We create bespoke furniture pieces for our retail, commercial and residential clients. We take pride in our meticulous attention to detail and quality workmanship. Manufacturing in our in-house joinery facility allows us to adhere to our strict quality control measures and ensures production of a high quality every time.

Shopfitting

In an ever changing and competitive retail world, we recognise that our clients need to stand out from their competitors. At Inset Group, we have a sound understanding of the retail market backed by the expertise to assist our clients in creating a retail environment that will make an impact and enhance customer engagement. Our shopfitting experience is diverse encompassing high end luxury retail fitouts, cafes, restaurants, kiosks and other food outlets.
