In 1993, founding Partner and Creative Director, Jim Vitogiannis, established Inset Group from a passion for design and perfected it with a critical eye for detail and innovation.

Inset Group has evolved from a boutique design house to be a turnkey business offering a complete in house service, encompassing design, joinery and signage, shopfitting, construction and project management.  Having the designer, manufacturer, builder and project manager under one umbrella allows us to deliver a fully integrated service in a cost effective and timely manner.

Our team of designers, professionals and trades, together with our in house joinery manufacturing facility, ensure that we deliver certainty at all stages of our projects. Our expertise, attention to detail and commitment to excellence means that our clients receive a quality outcome from concept design through to completion.

Our Approach

Our five project phases begin with listening to our clients needs and continuing through a collaborative process to achieve the desired outcome.

Consult

Understanding our client and their requirements is key to a successful project.  We listen and we absorb so that we can fully appreciate who you are and what drives you.  Drawing on our extensive knowledge and experience, we guide you through the process of taking your vision from idea to reality.

Design

Design is paramount in everything that we do.  We conceive creative concepts which are well considered to suit your requirements.  Communication and interaction with you throughout the design process facilitates the exchange of ideas and the refining of design to a level which provides accurate and impactful visualisation.

Document

Upon approval of the design concept we will commence detailed design documentation.  We will work through the complexities of Council, statutory and tenancy guidelines and ensure that all compliance requirements are met.  Accuracy in the production of documentation and specifications at this stage allows for a smooth and timely process throughout the next key stages.

Construct

Whether it be production, procurement or construction, attention to detail is critical to ensure a successful project.  We work closely with our in house production team and trusted suppliers and routinely perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision in production.  The same diligence is adopted on site during the construction and implementation phase while we bring your project to life.

Manage

The implementation stage is critical. We analyse, forecast and set project objectives so that required milestones and deadlines are met.  Budgetary cost controls are monitored closely ensuring that projects do not run over budget.  As we do in the design phase, we communicate and collaborate with you so that you are always aware of the status of works and budget.
